Computers are not my only interest. Amongst other things I serve as part time voluntary chaplain to SECAMB, the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
Through my experiences and friendships with the paramedics I have been inspired to write a children's book, aimed at children up to age eight years telling the story of a typical paramedic named Chris.
This will be the first of a series of books which simply and gently highlight the work, challenges, joys and sorrows of being a paramedic and at the same time enable adults and children to value and sensibly use the wonderful medical services we enjoy.
If every child and family had one of these books, if every school and institution had them, then bit by bit the pressure on our NHS would ease and all would have insight into the wonderful people of our health services.
